In 2001 I did a 'wallpaper' consisting of 406 caricatures of Deviant Art members as way of a thank you to this incredible art community. Now, 8 years later, I hope to capture the spirit of what this place is all about by creating the most challenging painting I have ever attempted. It's art for and about fellow artists. So here's the deal. I am going to paint a group portrait of fellow Deviant Art members. You send me your photo, I paint you and up to 899 other deviants in one MASSIVE piece of art.

The cut off date for photo submissions is November 27th.

It will probably take me 3-4 months to finish.

Once it's completed I will post it to deviantart.com and offer it as a print.

Due to the monumental task of organizing all this I need you to follow specific steps to ensure you will be included. Here are the instructions on how to do it:

Little Elephant Collectors

I just completed this commissioned piece for a friend of mine. Which in turn was for a friend of his based on a photo from her childhood. There were not quite as many elephants in the original photo.
